What to Expect

Tesla is seeking a Software Engineer. Come join the Quality DataLab team of experts which is responsible for developing the systems that improve and perfect the quality at Tesla. You will be designing and building highly-scalable and performant applications that will deliver functionality to our engineers to enable them to deliver the best quality.

The key objective of the DataLab team is developing new and innovative software solutions and help Tesla achieve its ambitious goals.

What You’ll Do

Architect, maintain and improve applications in close cooperation with data engineers, data scientists and other stakeholders.
Develop new user facing features and build reusable code for future use.
Fast prototyping, iterating, and development of novel ideas.
Optimize speed and performance.
Build tools, test-automation, and documentation.
Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables, with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
3+ years experience in JavaScript, and one or more programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python, or Go.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Clearly documenting your work is key.
Smart but humble, with a bias for action.
Demonstrated experience with building solid, testable, and maintainable clean code.
Able to work under pressure in the presence of stakeholders.
Fluent in English.
