Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Together with the other two members of the Executive Board, you will take on full responsibility for Kindernothilfe e.V. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be in charge for the areas of Finance, Human Resources and IT. You will also be responsible for strategic issues such as the process of internationalisation.

Responsibilities

Professional management of our Finance, HR and IT department
Strategic and operational leadership of the above-mentioned areas
Continuous development of the organisation in the context of strategy and vision
Efficient development of the culture, structure and processes of Kindernothilfe, in particular of the departments assigned to you
Results-oriented budget and resource planning for the entire organisation
Internal and external representation of Kindernothilfe

Requirements

University degree in the field of economics (or similar qualification)
At least five years of professional experience with leadership responsibility in an international organisation
Intercultural experience, e.g. through life or work experience in different international contexts
Comprehensive knowledge in the areas of controlling, finance and compliance
Strong identification with Kindernothilfe's values and the goals of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
German and English at C1/C2 level
Additional language skills preferred (Spanish, Portuguese or French)

Further informations

The desired starting date is 01.10.2024. As a member of the Executive Board, you will be appointed by our Board of Directors for a period of five years. There is an option to extend the term. Depending on your professional experience, you will be paid in pay group 15Ü of the BAT-KF collective agreement. Our office is located in Duisburg, Germany.
