The role

As a (Junior) Digital Strategy Manager in Offshore Wind, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing the digital transformation initiatives for our organisation. You will support the development and implementation of a comprehensive digital strategy to increase efficiency, optimise operations and drive innovation in the offshore wind industry.

Your future plans

Development of a digital strategy:

• Support the framing and development of a solid digital strategy that aligns with the company's goals and vision in the offshore wind sector.
• Identify and prioritise digital initiatives to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs and improve overall business performance.
• Contribute to the development of an overarching implementation strategy and roadmap to support the business in realising the digital initiatives.

Collaborate with stakeholders:

• Work with cross-functional teams, e.g. operations, engineering and IT to identify digital opportunities and challenges in the offshore wind projects.
• Work closely with various business units to identify and assess digital use cases with a focus on optimising processes for offshore wind project development, construction and maintenance.

Technical interface:

• Work with the IT and digital solutions teams to translate business requirements into precise technical capabilities.
• Ensure seamless integration and implementation of digital solutions into existing offshore wind operations.
• Facilitate the selection of internal and external vendors/solutions for implementation.
• Innovation and technology trends:
• Stay abreast of new technologies, industry trends and best practices in digitalisation in the offshore wind sector.

Project Management:

• Develop and coordinate complex initiatives, address challenges and ensure effective project outcomes.
• Oversee the overall project management of digital initiatives and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget and deliver high quality results.
You will build an agile project management culture that fosters collaboration, transparency and continuous improvement to effectively respond to changing business needs.

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, business or IT).
• First experience in developing use cases and implementing digital solutions, ideally in the offshore wind industry or renewable energy sector.
• First experience as a project manager in complex environments with corresponding digital project implementation.
• Ability to maintain operational effectiveness through intelligent monitoring and ensure consistent project output aligned to defined objectives.
• Understanding of the digital landscape and hands-on involvement in the design and implementation of effective digital strategies.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as IoT, data analytics and artificial intelligence related to offshore wind farm operations.
• Effective communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in implementing complex initiatives and solutions.
