This role is more than just coding. As a web developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

• 4+ years of experience with full-stack software development

• 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• 3+ years of experience with a programming language, such as Python, Go, or C#

• Experience in developing front-end web applications with frameworks, including Angular and React

• Experience with modern web application back-end programming

• Experience with DevOps containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Knowledge of SDLC processes, including client-facing requirement gathering

• TS/SCI clearance

• HS diploma or GED and 11+ years of experience with data engineering, Associate’s degree and 7+ years of experience with data engineering, or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with data engineering

• Active passport with at least 6 months validity for the purposes of visa applications

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with deploying and monitoring solutions on a cloud provider

• Experience with acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization

• Experience with Agile development methodologies

• Experience with Git version control

• Experience with administering core DevOps infrastructure for production code bases

• Experience with graphic design and wireframing

• Experience with agile development methodologies

• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts
