The section IT Business Solutions RI P&C delivers business value through the management of IT products including execution of change projects. Our team owns the key relationships (representing all IT service functions) with business units of Munich Re which underwrite or support Non-Life Reinsurance globally.

To complement our team of recognized IT experts, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual. You will develop and grow our global application landscape together with the business in a highly changing IT landscape. Your field of activities will be varied: the role encompasses not only application development, but also active representation of your applications in our global IT communities. This position will be located in Munich.

YOUR JOB

• Take over conception and programming of UI components within the project MAEX considering common UX standards as well as automated UI test in Cypress
• Being close to business and support from design and ideation phases until going live by integrating user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product as well as any questions regarding user guidance
• Continuously improve frontend information model and backend-for-frontend API design
• Resolve Security related questions with Security Architecture
• Being responsible for targeting and optimizing according to Performance and Non-Functional-Requirements for frontend applications

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree, preferably in Computer engineering / IT or similar qualification
• Several years in in UX/UI design and development; always up to date when it comes to trends in user guidance
• Deep technical knowledge in
  • Front-end technologies: Angular, Javascript, TypeScript, HTML5
  • Microsoft Technology and Dev Stack including Azure and Azure Dev Ops, WebApps, Signal R, MSAL (Microsoft Authentication Library)
  • Automated UI testing with Cypress
• Experience in:
  • Development according to clean code, SOLID principles and unit testing
  • DevOps (Agile development, CI/CD, staging in cloud environment)
• Consulting and collaborative working style and a will to participate in a culture of accountability and sharing
• A high degree of commitment and the willingness and ability to master the various tasks are essential
• Fluent spoken and written English
