The Hertie School in Berlin prepares exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society. We are looking for a
Research Associate (gn)
part-time (30 hours/week).
The contract shall commence as of 02 October 2023 and is limited until 31 December 2023. The contract will likely be extended for 2024.
Your tasks:
- Conduct research on external cultural policy for select countries
- Review and assess existing literature, studies and data sources on external cultural policy, cultural relations and soft power
- Writing draft country reports
- Compiling data fact sheets
- Prepare overview on data availability and quality
- Contribute to report writing
- Communicating with other team members and experts
- Other tasks as defined by PI
Your profile:
- Master degree in public policy or similar social science degree
- Familiarity with cultural policy
- Excellent English language proficiency and writing skills
- Good web-searching and data management skills
