We are currently looking for a Certified German Tutor to supervise German translation interns participating long distance from their home country.
At New York Habitat you will:
Act as a long-distance supervisor for translation interns working from their home country.
- Proofread translations by the interns and help them with their translation challenges.
- Contribute to the progress of the intern through weekly evaluations.
Your qualifications:
- You are an experienced German tutor (a degree in German translation is a huge plus)
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience teaching / translating German
- You own your company in your own country OR you are documented in the US
- You are able to work flexible hours
The position will pay $30 per hour.
