Your Mission and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be a vital part of our engineering team, focusing on the construction of robust, scalable technology platforms and APIs. You will collaborate across departments to provide the highest quality product for our users. We are looking for a developer who excels in PHP, API design, and Service-Oriented Architectures.

• Develop and expand our core platform services and transactional booking systems.
• Design and maintain high-performance API platforms for internal and external use.
• Engage in collaborative code reviews and pair programming sessions.
• Optimize our existing codebase, supporting tens of thousands of daily active users.
• Identify and resolve bugs while ensuring peak system performance.

Your Professional Profile

• Initial experience in building web applications and distributed web services.
• Sound knowledge of PHP, object-oriented programming, and relational data modeling.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to efficiently write and debug complex queries.
• Comfortable working with Linux or macOS command-line interfaces.
• Exposure to message queues and Elasticsearch is considered a significant advantage.
• Effective communication skills with fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Experience operating within Agile development environments.
