For our team in Munich we are looking for a Data Science Product Owner (m,f,d) who will lead development and implementation of advanced analytics data products.

You will be part of the growing and open-minded team of data scientists, analysts, engineers, stewards, and ML engineers with fresh experience from other industries. Drive the development and use of data products with your advanced analytics expertise and your influencing skills to support data-driven business decisions!

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of advanced analytics data products
• Engage with business stakeholders as data translator
• Translate business requirements into analytics deliverables
• Ensure acceptable usage of data products among business users
• Manage resources & progress
• Pro-actively identify business questions that haven’t been asked yet
• Lead projects with internal and global teams as well as external consultants
• Convey complex analytics concepts in business language to colleagues and senior executives
• Stay up-to-date on data science thought leadership and think outside the box on this constantly evolving field

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a quantitative science field (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or another related field)
• Proven work experience developing machine learning solutions with techniques and algorithms such as k-NN, Naïve Bayes, SVM, Decision Trees, and Random Forests
• Effective listening skills to translate a business problem into an analytical solution
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Good written and oral business German and English skills
• Familiarity with Python and the corresponding advanced analytics & plot libraries
• Knowledge of modeling pipelines & tools
