Specific Duties
We are seeking a lab assistant/technician to support a BMBF research project by making microdevices in our cleanroom. The tasks cover the entire range of activities in the cleanroom related to sample fabrication, as well as characterization by optical and electron microscopy. Tasks associated to the project include:
- fabrication of devices in the cleanroom
- help in the optimization of micro and nanofabrication processes
- support in the cleanroom activities together with the scientists of the group
Requirements
- university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Engineering, Physics, Nanosciences
or
- equivalent skills, experience, and qualifications
Verification of equivalent skills, experience, and qualifications for the last prerequisites will be conducted on hiring.
Required skills and personal qualities
- experience in the areas of cleanroom technology
- good basic understanding in the areas of nanosciences in general, engineering, optics
- safe handling of scientific devices, like microscopes and lasers
- good communication skills in German and English
