We are now looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who can help us to continuously improve Volue’s ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission.

What you will be doing to make a difference:

• Be a senior contributor in the development team that builds and maintains the most important part of our business: our trading platform.
• Participate in refining user stories and specifications, planning sprints, reviewing code, automating tests, and creating documentation
• Work with the latest technology and ensure we deliver great products that meet our standards for usability, reliability and performance
• Analyze new technologies and best practices to incorporate them into our setup and thus constantly improve our product
• Keep an eye on the software architecture and drive discussions on the design of the software in terms of maintainability and reliability

What you need to succeed:

• 7+ years of experience in building highly interactive and user-friendly UIs using React.
• Deep understanding of modern JavaScript and the Functional Programming paradigm, and a track record of delivering high-quality code.
• Familiar with using design systems to build UIs.
• Experience with commonly used front-end technologies, including TypeScript and Webpack, and libraries used for consuming REST and GraphQL services.
• Good knowledge of testing frameworks/libraries like Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
• Good understanding of design principles and UX, capable of providing insightful feedback during all stages of product development.
• Experience in extending backend services with C# is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Fluency in English, German is a plus.

We are looking to hire for Volue office in Munich/Germany but will be ready to consider other locations for the right candidate.
