As an automotive supplier, DENSO is leading in developing and providing components and systems for heating, air conditioning, motor cooling, exhaust gas aftertreatment, automotive electrics and electronics and instrumentation.

As Finance & Accounting Manager (m/f/d) of DENSO AUTOMOTIVE Deutschland GmbH, you will manage our F&A team and will be responsible for ensuring compliance with German and DENSO accounting standards and reporting requirements. You will report to the Director Finance & Accounting of DENSO International Europe.

• Ensuring of process and report of monthly, quarterly and yearly closing accounts in accordance with DENSO group timelines;
• Financial reporting;
• Preparation and management of statutory financial statements;
• Contact person and Management for all internal audits (e.g., JSox, internal audit) and external audits (e.g., year end audit local GAAP);
• Handling of all tax related matters in combination with external consultant, responsible for tax compliance;
• Accompanying tax audits by fiscal authority;
• Project management coordination of all F&A related projects;
• Collaboration with key relevant other departments like Business Planning and Engineering;
• Management, support, training and development of the German F&A team;
• Successful maintenance and development of a trusting relationship with the other European DENSO National Offices by supporting the “One-F&A-Team”;
• Effective understanding and becoming part of the “DENSO culture”, building strong relationships across the company.

• Degree as qualified accountant (m/f/d) or comparable training;
• 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting;
• Motivation to take the next step in your career to management level;
• Good knowledge of German GAAP and tax laws;
• Preferable: Project management skills and an affinity for Japanese culture;
• Pro-active and open-minded work style;
• Focus on attention to details and expertise in organizing and prioritizing tasks;
• Strong team leading style with excellent networking skills;
• Excellent written and oral communication in both German and English language (business language is English);
• Professional knowledge of MS Office programs.
