• you are part of a cross-functional development team that is always looking for the best technical solutions
• we work in an agile team, so you will accompany the entire development process from an idea to a product which will be seen by millions of users every day
• you use modern technologies like Spring Boot and Kafka
• together with the other engineers, you are responsible for evaluating the availability, resilience and performance of our systems as well as designing them according to the requirements
• you design and implement scalable and highly available systems as well as services and applications, which you run on AWS
• you demand and promote technical excellence while keeping the needs of stakeholders in mind
• you work closely with the product management to build the best possible product

passionate and talented developer with experience in development for the web

• you have several years of experience working with Java 11+, Spring Boot and Spring WebFlux
• experience with NodeJS and AWS Lambdas are considered a plus
• you are familiar with REST APIs
• you are not afraid to take end-to-end responsibility in your team and you can identify with the "you build it - you run it" mentality
• you can build, deploy and run your code in the cloud (ideally you already have experience with GitHub Actions and AWS)
• you have an informed opinion, you stand up for it – and you respect it when others do too
• you are not afraid to give open and appreciative feedback in order to maintain or increase the quality of your team
• you are not afraid to communicate with us in English
• you have experience in working in an agile environment
