Regional CX Teams support highly technical customer engagements in all theatres across the globe and customer segments. This position will be primarily focused on the German Theater.

What You'll Do

Write processes and procedures for customized support services. Ensure accurate delivery and sales of product and service solutions. Identify need for and assist with creation of customer training.
Act as business driver to improve customer's and Cisco's internal operations. Understand customer's internal business functions and culture. Project lead customer facing projects and internal sophisticated service improvements. Identify, build and manage relationships with customer's internal management. Act as single point of contact for operational issues.
Coordinate technical issues and customer needs. Represent customer needs to Cisco post-sales support teams and applicable organizations. Travel to quarterly customer site visits to present operational issues/activity, customer satisfaction and gap analysis to customer and internal Cisco personnel.
Provide customers with updates on hot or escalated issues. Coordinate and conduct weekly conference calls to provide status reports to customer. Build and present quarterly reports to customers with analysis of customer's support needs.
Be able to understand and capture client requirements, lead a technical team to craft and implement technical solutions that meet customer's needs.
Participate in technology specific projects for services like implementation, migration, or support.
Cooperate with the project teams, follow protocol, adhere to project processes and compliance.
Create technical documentation such as topologies, designs, implementation plans, and documents around client solutions.
As part of a larger team, collaborate in a virtual environment with minimal mentorship.

Who You Are

We are looking for a Consulting Engineer to deliver customer projects in the field of network design, implementation, performance engineering, problem resolution and automation.

We need a creative problem solver, responding to customers' demands to deploy and support Cisco's newest technologies and products. Be well positioned to become a trusted advisor, capable of building solid, long-term relationships with customers. Our CX Engineers are recognized technology specialists and Cisco will help you continuously improve your skills and expertise to lead technology/solutions.

Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in Network Engineering positions.
Background in data networks and familiar with key Cisco technologies and protocols.
Professional level (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) or equivalent relevant certification and skills.
Good understanding of Automation technologies (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and can articulate the value of Network Automation!
Experience in the process and output of designing and implementing Datacenter network solutions
Operational experience including network management, network availability, and capacity management.
Eager to develop yourself and learn new technologies and delivery methods!
Willing to travel for customer projects, training, and internal meetings (25-35%).
Fluent in spoken and written German and good English language skills (level B2 to C1).
