Your adventure begins in Idstein as a Designer Apparel.
- Conversion of the defined collection framework plan into a presentation-ready template (Sketch and Colorid), realization into market-ready products
- Creation of mood boards, color concept, designs and development of products based on the defined collection framework plan, travel activities, trend research and experience/feedback from past seasons
- Development of fabric and trimming concepts of the category/sub-segments to be responsible for in close cooperation with the Product Manager
- Managing the collection development process in close cooperation with PM and technical department
- Handover of technical product documents and communication of complete product information to technical product development or directly to producers if required
- Assessing prototypes and advising technical product development in case of questions, problems or comments
- Preparation and follow-up of milestone meetings held as part of collection development (design meetings based on sketches and later color sketches, prototype meeting, range fixing)
- Control and continuous maintenance of the seasonal administration in our "Product Data Management Tool" Centric
- Completed degree in fashion design or apparel design, or alternatively, at least 3-5 years of professional experience working on a creative team in the functional apparel industry
- Experienced in functional or Lifestyle apparel development and strong product and market knowledge of the outdoor/sporting goods industry
- Very good understanding of processes within product development (from design creation to a market ready product) and experienced in project work
- Confident with drawing programs (Illustrator/Photoshop) and MS Office, experience in 3D Bowzwear are an advantage
- Independent working, creative and strong communication skills
- Very good command of written and spoken English
- Travel activity: trade fairs, store checks and trips to producers (max. 2 weeks)
