DBAG Luxembourg was established in March 2023 and has grown to a team of 10 motivated employees during that time. With its set up, DBAG started providing services in domiciliation, management, accounting and tax to multiple SPVs with a strong focus on delivering high quality services in a fast paced and collaborative environment.

We are looking for a Legal Associate (m/f/d) based in Luxembourg, who will report to the MD Luxembourg Legal and form an important part of the Luxembourg operation. The successful candidate will work closely with the MD Luxembourg Legal and other team members based in Luxembourg, Frankfurt/Main and Milan including investment, legal, tax and finance team members on a broad range of legal tasks. Fluency in German and English are mandatory for this role.

• Drafting of a range of Luxembourg and German legal documentation (funding, co-investment, corporate housekeeping, etc).
• Working with the Luxembourg legal team to ensure a strong standard of legal housekeeping is maintained.
• Acting as a key point of contact between DBAG Luxembourg and co-investors (primarily German based). Providing clarify on any legal relevant legal points in collaboration with internal and external advisors.
• Review of transactional documentation and working with team members and external advisors to ensure smooth transaction execution. Acting as a trusted legal advisor to Luxembourg board members.
• Assisting with other ad hoc legal projects as necessary.

• Min. two years of work experience in Luxembourg or Germany, preferably at a law firm, Asset Manager or a Fiduciary Company
• Experience in a client-facing role
• Experience of managing large numbers or requests and demonstrating a focus on managing priorities and meeting deadlines
• Proven ability to manage tasks through to completion
• Strong organisational skills and very good knowledge of MS office
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong communication skills, hands-on attitude and service awareness
• Strong team-player, interested to establish relationship with colleagues in the various offices
• Solution orientated and enthusiastic
• Ability to prioritise effectively and work autonomously
• Self-starter and open personality
