Key Objectives of this Role:
- Manage and lead the technical disciplines of various development projects with cross-functional and global teams;
- Follow committed project objectives (Quality, Budget, Timing) in the area of VW Group Product Delivery, mainly in the categories of Electrification;
- Evaluation and Prioritization of technical requirements in complex environments - managing the technical content of the projects;
- Professional Interface management between the disciplines, customers, and supplier;
- Consequent behavior in implementing internal and external product and process requirements according to Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262, VW KGAS, VW PEP, TISAX, etc.;
- Identification and Evaluation of potential project risks, managing and mitigating the risks with effective action plans;
- Definition, Adaption, and Compliance to technical project objectives and timing plans including committed Milestones / Deliverables;
- Insurance of the success of the projects by active Change & Release Management as well as internal advocate of the customer interests;
- Planning and Steering of technical resources within the target lines;
- Organisation and Moderation of Meetings and Workshops;
- Continuous improvement of the development process.
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Mandatory:
- Successfully completed university degree in Electrical engineering, Information technologies, Physics or equivalent branch of study;
- Experience in the development of Control units in the automotive industry, preferably in the area of Electrification;
- Ideally you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in leading development projects in the automotive industries and you have good Software, Hardware, and Mechanical experience;
- Ideally you have the knowledge and applied experience in agile and matrix project structures;
- You have the character to be conscious and calm even in critical project phases;
- You like decision-making, being resilient and adaptable to changing project situations;
- You have good planning skills in a structured and methodical principle of work;
- You are working independently and you are a good communicator;
- You have fluent German and fluent English language skills

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Chief Engineer – VW in Germany, Karlsruhe.
