We are looking for Automation Technicians (m/f/d) who will carry out maintenance and servicing for robots and conveyor systems in our paint shop and contribute to the sustainable production of the Tesla Model Y.

What You’ll Do

You support the maintenance of the application robots in paint shops (mostly DÜRR equipment),
You perform corrective and preventive maintenance tasks on systems and machines,
You perform troubleshooting and detect malfunctions of robots,
You assist in improving the Total Productive Maintenance program in the paint shop,

You inspect and test robots for defects after assembly by the manufacturer,

Order and cleanliness in the workplace are a necessity for you and you support lean production and 5S activities,
You respond quickly to emergencies and call for additional help when needed,
You support engineers in the design and application of robotic systems.

What You’ll Bring

You have completed vocational training as an automation technician (m/f/d) or have a comparable qualification,
You have general knowledge and skills in the mechanical and electrical maintenance of automated robot systems and are familiar with DÜRR equipment,
Also advantageous is knowledge of painting processes and robot programming in DXQ 3DOnSite,
You have an interest in working on a variety of systems and machines,
Skillful use of a variety of hand tools and portable tools as well as general machining and welding is commonplace for you,
You can read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics,
You bring a hands-on mentality as well as a willingness to work 4 shifts (likely continuous rotating shift model),
You speak fluent English, German is an advantage.
