TeamCity powers CI/CD pipelines for thousands of enterprise teams worldwide. As AI agents increasingly handle development tasks, TeamCity is evolving into an AI-native platform that keeps automation reliable, secure, and fully under your control.
Our product team is scaling its data-informed culture – and we need a Senior Product Analyst to drive that transformation. You'll embed directly in the TeamCity squad while contributing to the broader Data Analytics team at JetBrains Central.
In this role, you will
- Collaborate daily with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to turn raw usage data into product decisions.
- Run ad hoc analyses that validate feature hypotheses, uncover user behavior patterns, and guide release strategy.
- Define and champion data best practices – from event-logging design to data-quality standards.
- Build and evolve the product metrics framework that tracks performance across releases.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards in Metabase or Tableau.
- Post-release impact analysis: quantify what changed after a feature ships and why.
- Design ETL pipelines and data models that enable end-to-end analytics coverage.
We value product analysts who
- Thrive as the first dedicated analyst on a team – shaping how data drives decisions from day one.
- Spot product-improvement opportunities proactively and translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Bring a strong statistical foundation: sampling techniques, error margins, and inference from user samples.
- Have data-engineering chops: designing ETLs and pipelines that power complete dashboards.
We'll be happy to have you on our team if you have
- Deep expertise in statistics and data analysis.
- Extensive SQL and Python experience.
- 2+ years with Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent BI tools.
- Strong data-visualization and storytelling skills.
We'd be especially thrilled if you
- Have hands-on experience with developer tools, DevOps, or CI/CD workflows.
- Bring a background in A/B testing or experiment design.
- Are comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate analytics workflows.
In the Data Analytics team, we use
