We are seeking a talented Data Analyst (f/m/d) to join our Royalty Data Analytics team in Berlin. As a Data Analyst, you will collaborate with various departments within the Company, to facilitate informed decision-making through high-quality data insights, compelling storytelling, and advanced data visualization. You will also be responsible for delivering sophisticated data modelling and self-service reporting solutions that can improve how we operate and solve business issues.
Your Tasks
- Manage and process big data volumes, extracting and transforming data from centralized data warehouses and multiple organizational databases to prepare royalty analyses and KPIs.
- Ensure the accurate and high-quality analysis, design, and presentation of data to facilitate improved decision-making for businesses and organizations.
- Develop self-service reporting solutions as well as answer ad-hoc queries.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers and management leaders to identify and propose process improvements, system modifications and develop data governance strategies.
- Utilize data visualization reporting to support decision-making, crafting compelling dashboards for various stakeholders.
- Maintain and continually improve automated tools, databases, and dashboards.
Your Skillset
- Degree in business information systems, business informatics, computer science, data science, information technology, or related field.
- Experience in the field of data analytics; music or media industry experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Looker or Data Studio, including writing custom SQL queries. Knowledge of Python is an added advantage.
- Experience with JIRA service desk and Confluence is preferred.
- Fluent in English, with German skills being a plus.

- Keen interest in maintaining data quality by considering data governance guidelines.
- Meticulous and analytical work style, with a focus on results, organization, and a deep passion for deriving business-enhancing insights from data.
- Capability to independently plan and execute your own projects, displaying a proactive and self-directed approach when tackling new subjects.
