Le Wagon is the World's Leading Coding School offering Web Development, Data Analytics and Data Science Bootcamps in a Full Time (9 weeks) and Part-Time (24 weeks) formats. In order to realise our regional ambitions in Germany, we are looking for a City Manager to manage our campus of Cologne and to join our Germany team.
Role responsibilities
You are the ambassador of Le Wagon in the region within the Cologne ecosystem. Your mission is:
- Implement a development strategy through local partnerships (public institutions, companies, schools, etc.).
- Create relationships with local companies to respond to their tech recruitment issues and keep an eye on the needs of your economic area.
- Create impactful local initiatives, to make as many people as possible aware of the content and quality of our courses, and increase the number of students at the Wagon per programme.
In collaboration with the batch managers, your missions are to :
- Recruiting staff.
- Work to ensure that the team spirit lives on.
You are responsible for the smooth running of your campus! To do this, you will be responsible for:
Ensure an incredible training experience for the students, in conjunction with the teaching team, which goes beyond the bootcamp (community, job offers, etc). Be the benevolent guarantor of the quality of the learning environment and the training experience. Ensure the accounting/admin and day-to-day management of the premises.
Contribute to the success of other departments
To give more impact to your local initiatives, your mission is to :
Build with the Marketing Manager, other campuses and the General Manager the acquisition strategies. Work with the Sales and Admissions teams to measure the impact of the actions taken and identify the needs of your city. Working with the Financing team on the appropriate schemes for your area and responding to Calls for Tender. In addition to the action of the Career Services, accompany and facilitate the professional integration of alumni and/or the achievement of their project. Report on your results to your General Manager.
This is the role for you if you are:
You are an experienced manager with a track record of success in sales and/or management. You have experience in the startup industry or education sector and are passionate about technology and education. You have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to build strong relationships with clients and partners. You are a goal-oriented individual who is able to set and achieve targets.
In addition, you have:
- Experience in project management and business development
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Experience in administrative and operational management
