As our new Group Sustainability Manager (m/f/d) at KWS SAAT & Co. KGaA, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of strategies, targets and activities in the area of sustainability management and ESG (Environment, Social, Governance).

This position is ideal for graduates and young professionals who want to start their career in an exciting and sought-after field. Your work will be aimed at positioning our company responsibly on an environmental, social and economic level and promoting sustainable practices within KWS and in our value chain.

This fixed-term parental leave replacement position is ideally to be staffed in full-time – working part-time (minimum 25h/week) is possible.

Work from our HQ in Einbeck or at our Berlin-based KWS site.

Your Tasks:

Continuation of the project management for the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
Coordination of non-financial reporting for the KWS Group 2024/2025
Identification of opportunities to promote ESG aspects within the KWS Group and our value chain, including the establishment of appropriate internal guidelines or group standards
Active participation in industry initiatives and networks

Your Profile:

University degree in environmental sciences, sustainability management, agricultural sciences or comparable
(First) professional experience in the field of sustainability reporting is nice to have
Very good user knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
Interest in sustainability concepts and practices
Very good project management skills
Structured, independent way of working paired with very good time management skills
Very good communication skills in German and English
