We are looking for a motivated Intern (m/f/d) for our Global Customer Solutions Implementation Team at Global Head Office DHL Freight in Bonn. This is a full-time internship (39 hours/week) for 6 months. The ideal starting date is 1st March 2024.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the understanding and translation of customer requirements into state-of-the art road freight solutions through the involvement of central and local functions, such as Operations, IT, Sales, Customer Service and Finance.

In this role you will:

• Support Customer Project Managers on project management routine
• Support the team in development and implementation of global Operations solution concepts
• Lead workstreams on customer projects and internal initiatives
• Follow up on project tasks with central functions and country organizations
• Execute data analysis and visualization
• Create project documentation, presentations and communication material
• Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes and routines

Our perfect match:

• You are a student of Business Management preferably with Project Management / Operations focus or equivalent (active enrolment as a student is mandatory)
• You have strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office
• Ideally, you have a solid understanding of data analysis & data visualization
• You are fluent in English (both written and spoken), any other language is an advantage
• You can convincingly articulate ideas and collaborate seamlessly
• You are a person with a self-propelling character and a proactive working style
• You take initiative, show resourcefulness, and display a strong drive for success
• You possess a systematic approach to problem-solving
