THE ROLE
As part of our Wella R&D organization in Darmstadt, Germany, you will support the global Wella businesses hands-on in our Fragrance Design team. In your role you will manage the fragrance portfolio of Hair Care, Color and Styling products. The successful candidate should be a team player and a keen problem solver with a passion for fragrance design in the beauty industry. This is an entry level position with growth opportunities for a high performing individual.
YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE
- Proactively managing the Wella fragrance portfolio to ensure regulatory compliance and drive simplification in line with brand fragrance strategy
- Partnering with our Core Fragrance Houses on fragrance reworks and new submissions for initiatives.
- Planning, coordinating and executing all logistics and set up of evaluation sessions, with preparation of samples in our recently built fragrance lab.
- Owning the SOPs for internal panel screening, training and calibration in R&D and in manufacturing plants.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Master’s degree in Perfumery oder or equivalent Perfumery education training.
- Strong passion for fragrance design and demonstrated creativity to generate fragrance briefs that capture brand equity.
- Collaboration skills, demonstrating proactivity, agility, and initiative. Ability to communicate effectively with partners in the team and across interfaces.
- A high level of English language skills in oral and written form to communicate effectively with global teams across R&D and with our external partners.
- Advanced operating skills in IT systems, e.g., MS office. SAP experience an advantage.
