Your area of responsibility

• Conception, setup and maintenance of Red Hat OpenStack (RHOSP) and multi-cluster solutions with Red Hat OpenShift (version 4 and higher)

• Creation, management and optimisation of OpenShift resources and the virtual network infrastructure

• Implementation and conception of automation as IaC (e.g. with Terraform and Ansible)
• Planning and implementation of storage solutions with Red Hat Ceph and Data Foundation, as well as the operation of a zero-trust network
• Taking over test activities, for example in the form of unit tests in a BDD set-up

Your area of responsibility

• Successfully completed studies in computer science or a comparable specialisation or IT technical training with relevant professional experience in a comparable position
• Expertise in setting up and operating OpenStack and OpenShift
• Expertise in general programming/scripting/IaC (e.g. Python, Shell, Ansible, Terraform) and in dealing with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and agile mindset
• Knowledge in the automation and management of Linux system administration tasks as well as distributed versioning systems (esp. GitLab)
• Practical knowledge of infrastructure automation, configuration management, log management and monitoring
• Experience in securing IT infrastructures according to ISO 27001 or BSI basic protection as well as in operating software solutions with external cloud providers
