Responsibilities
- You work as a data scientist
- You focus on data collection and preparation, model training and deployment, model prediction and post processing
- You use the following technology components: Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Lake
- You implement ML Ops concepts
- You explore data and communicate insights clearly to non-technical as well as technical audience.
- Analyze experimental results, iterate and refine models to create significant business impact
- You have good knowledge in Time Series Forecasting using standard Regression algorithms like Linear Regression, Gradient Boosted Decision Trees, Random forest, etc.
- You manipulate dataframes using Pandas and arrays using Numpy
- You develop using Python / PySpark coding language
- You implement CI/CD build and release pipelines
- You actively promote knowledge exchange in the wider Energy Markets community
Qualification
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience of using the Azure technology stack (see above)
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Python coding
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience in time series forecasting.
- Strong technical capabilities around technologies such as: Azure Machine Learning, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Bricks
- Ability to work both independently and within a team in combination with excellent communication skills
- Energy industry experience is advantageous
- Fluent in English, German is advantageous
