Your Job

• Optimization of plant availability/ plant reliability through preventive/ predictive maintenance and responsible for cost control in maintenance
• Development of new technical solutions to improve the productivity and effectiveness of systems
• Development of PLC program, root cause analysis, debugging of PLC programs & error correction.
• Responsibility for the implementation of CapEx projects in relation to energy, automation, and plant technology
• Responsibility for facility (compressed air, building, cooling water, process water, wastewater, air conditioning, etc.) management.
• Proactive support of the Continuous Improvement process within the World Class Manufacturing program
• Responsible for setting guidelines, targets and the strategic direction of the plant in the area of maintenance/reliability
• Employee training and development with regard to continuously changing requirements
• Implementation of legal requirements and regular inspections to maintain a high safety standard

What Will Put You Ahead

• Successfully completed engineering degree, min. BSc in mechanical, electrical, electronic or similar.
• Expert knowledge in PLC programming and experience in solving PLC problems in a production environment.

- Relevant professional experience in the field of reliability/maintenance/automation in an industrial, production-intensive environment - ideally in a comparable position in the metal, glass, cement industry

• Experience in plant maintenance in relation to compressed air, cooling water, air conditioning etc.
• Experience in continuous production as well as with typical analysis methods, such as the Root Cause or Ishikawa diagram (Fish Bone method)
• Strong analytical ability to implement improvement processes as well as a high level of commitment, safety awareness and integrity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an interest in continuously learning and optimizing yourself and the processes around you
• Written and spoken English and good written and spoken German, other languages are a plus
