optimization of logistics processes and solutions w.r.t. reliability, costs, time and taking into account local and regional trade regulations

scheduling of materials and parts in line with deadlines and orders to ensure serviceability in the field / SSC / customer

definition of min / max stocks of the service storage locations

definition of storage location, material type and quantity depending on the required response time, number and type of installed base, customer agreement

keeping linkage to inhouse support functions (Procurement, Administartion, SSC service and logistics) and inhouse supplier (i.e. RMS)

networking in Zeiss logistics community of practice

participation in best practice exchange between CZ units and project workshops

studies of Economy, Engineering or similar, ideally with focus on supply chain/logistics

5+ work experience in supply chain, service logistics or back office
-
experience as export officer or export manager
-
basic knowledge of relevant trade compliance matters

used to work with SAP SD and MM modules, good knowledge of MS Office tools
-
basic experience in project management, preferably in an international environment
-
good communication skills, ability to work in intercultural teams, flexibility

solid basis of English business
