Your future tasks at a glance

• Manage our process flow for any warranty return hardware parts, from the initial incoming logistics over the test and analysis to the defined feedback in documented form to the customers
• Establish and manage a regular communication channel with our customer’s quality engineers
• Coordinate workflow with all stakeholders in the warranty process inside Munich Electrification (supplier quality engineers, production engineers, hardware engineers, validation engineers)
• Test warranty return hardware from the field, deep dive into root cause analysis for failures and work with all stakeholders to define and implement corrective measures
• Write test reports and work together with the supplier quality engineers to create 8D reporting
• Define, track, and report key performance indicators to contribute to the continuous improvement of our products
• Improve prediction models for field reliability and make sure that test setups are up to date with the identified failure modes

What you bring with you

• Successfully completed university degree in an electronics engineering field
• Indispensable capability to understand and interpret schematics of electronics
• Hands-on mentality with an interest in hardware design, experience in PCBA build methods is a plus
• Experience with failure modes of electrical components, fault tree and similar analyzing techniques
• Relevant working experience in automotive industry, preferably in hardware development or testing is desired
• Highly motivated, willing to take responsibility and ownership of a project
• Creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm for innovative electronics solutions for electric vehicles
• Preference for working in teams and strong communication skills (English & German favorable)
