Raji Jayaraman, a Professor of Economics and Academic Director of the FUTURE Institute for Sustainable Transformation at ESMT Berlin, is looking for a student assistant in the area of policy evaluation.

The student assistant should be a Master student, who is self-disciplined, well-organized, pro-active, and possesses strong communication and project management skills. A background in economics, primary and secondary research, data analysis and familiarity with ESMT are a plus.

Research Assistant
(m/f/x, part-time, 10 - 20 h/week, to start in January 2024)

• provide administrative assistance
• conduct literature reviews
• support project management
• support data collection and analysis

• are working on your master’s degree in management or economics
• are curious, mission-driven, self-directed and proactive
• have a keen interest in policy research
• are a good oral and written communicator
• are fluent in English; French and German are a plus
• possess strong analytical skills; experience with STATA is a plus
