Chief Project Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Leading a system engineering team
• Technical Interface to customer
• Planning and coordination of tasks with the required technical departments
• Support of B2/C/D/E1 proposals preparation: design, development and verification plan, industrial procurement plan, WBS, management plans
• Ensure continuity across project phases 0/A and B/C/D.
• Supporting the preparation of a strategic business plan for the Exploration, Science and Space Safety program areas
• Support R&D strategy and Technical product marketing

Your Qualificatons

• Successfully completed engineering studies or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the space sector with focus on Exploration & Science & Space Safety
• Several years of experience in proposal preparation (A/B/C/D) as well as A/B study or B/C/D project management
• High level of communication and leadership skills as well as the ability to work in a team, a sense of responsibility and an entrepreneurial mindset
• The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas of responsibility, negotiation skills, flexibility and an effective and independent way of working
• Good English language skills, both written and spoken
• Relevant knowledge of common MS Office tools
• Willingness to travel
