As a Production Engineering Technician, you will drive improvements in the production of PCBAs and box-build products and manage the implementation of new products, as well as the change management of series production of ELSP/ELSB/MODP in the production unit DESTO Hornberg.

This position reports to

Production Development Team Lead

Your responsibilities

• Procure manufacturing equipment and supplies
• Create work plans and product cost calculation
• Coordinate new product ramp-ups between R&D and manufacturing and control the change man-agement
• Permanently improve workflows and manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and optimize costs
• Know-how transfer and training in manufacturing technology and manufacturing standards
• Identify and lead CIP projects

Your background

• 2 years of work experience in the production or engineering area for electronic production desirable.
• Work experience on a production line, process knowledge in electronic production; project manage-ment desirable
• Knowledge of SAP, PLM system e.g. PTC Windchill, REFA, MTM, Lean Six Sigma are advantageous
• Strong focus on safe working practices and commitment to compliance with all relevant workplace safety guidelines
• A team player with a solution-oriented approach and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technician or Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or technical education with advanced
• training if applicable
• Fluent German and English
