As a Production Engineering Technician, you will drive improvements in the production of PCBAs and box-build products and manage the implementation of new products, as well as the change management of series production of ELSP/ELSB/MODP in the production unit DESTO Hornberg.
Production Development Team Lead
- Procure manufacturing equipment and supplies
- Create work plans and product cost calculation
- Coordinate new product ramp-ups between R&D and manufacturing and control the change man-agement
- Permanently improve workflows and manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and optimize costs
- Know-how transfer and training in manufacturing technology and manufacturing standards
- Identify and lead CIP projects
- 2 years of work experience in the production or engineering area for electronic production desirable.
- Work experience on a production line, process knowledge in electronic production; project manage-ment desirable
- Knowledge of SAP, PLM system e.g. PTC Windchill, REFA, MTM, Lean Six Sigma are advantageous
- Strong focus on safe working practices and commitment to compliance with all relevant workplace safety guidelines
- A team player with a solution-oriented approach and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technician or Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or technical education with advanced
- training if applicable
- Fluent German and English
