A vacancy for a Financial Analyst (m/f/d) in the Urban Air Mobility team has arisen in Munich.

The position will be offered within the new Airbus Urban Mobility GmbH conditions and salary policy.

Your Role

You will be part of the Finance Team within the start-up like entity Airbus Urban Mobility GmbH. AUM GmbH has been set up as the central entrepreneur of the UAM organization within the Group and acts as the program for the eVTOL development as well as the system integrator for UAM. In that context, it covers the pillars vehicle, take-off & landing infrastructure and (unmanned) traffic management to prepare the integration in cities and future commercial passenger operations.

In your role you will be in charge of the following main activities:

• Provide cross-divisional consolidated reporting references for AAM financials (actuals, target) to the Airbus Urban Mobility Leadership Team and the Project Office.

• Coordinate with the Project Leaders on deviations analyses, identify trends and support anticipation / mitigation of key Risks & Opportunities.

• Establish financial outlooks / forecasts based on bottom-up inputs and top-down judged view.

• Implement cost allocation (master data management, internal charge-back routines, capitalization policy) to achieve relevant data quality for financial reporting.

• Support Public Funding income generation, providing transparent and traceable inputs (hours, hourly rate, costs) to auditors, with the support of Airbus Public Funding experts.

• Ensures synchronization of consistent intercompany transactions, and accuracy of consolidated references for the AAM Programme.
  

Your Qualifications and Skills

We expect you to have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the fields of Finance and Controlling, or comparable qualifications

• Practical experience in the areas of finance and controlling or auditing

• Data driven mindset, advanced knowledge in spreadsheets data structuring / calculations / restitutions

• Analytical skills, capacity to synthesize complex information

• A high level of self-reliance with the ability to work effectively across various teams, as well as working autonomously

• Start-up or technology company experience is a plus

• Very good written and spoken English

• French or German knowledge is a plus
