The role:
We are currently looking for a Product Data Analyst (f/m/x) to join our Data team. With 2.5 million daily unique visitors on our platforms, we process terabytes of internal and external data every day. This creates many exciting challenges for our analysts.
The role can be based in Berlin, working in a hybrid modality, or remote within Germany, France, or the UK.
This is how you can help us:
- Gather, analyze, and interpret vast amounts of operational data to understand user behavior. We track around 500 different events and ingest 25 GB of data into our database every day.
- Identify opportunities in data to accelerate product adoption, retention, engagement, and/or monetization.
- Identify KPIs and work with developers to ensure proper implementation and functionality of front-end pixels for tracking and analysis.
- Develop data models and perform trend analysis to identify patterns and outliers in data to identify and troubleshoot product issues.
- Create comprehensive, self-service dashboards and reports of product data that communicate findings and provide recommendations for stakeholders. Our analysts support 300+ people in their decision making process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and UX designers to determine product requirements, including collecting user feedback and creating user journey analysis.
- Design and implement testing methodologies, A/B tests and hypothesis-oriented testing to measure product efficacy and to determine product enhancements.
These skills will make you successful in the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related analytical field
- 2+ years of experience in product data analysis with a demonstrated history of working with large amounts of operational data
- Strong skills in SQL and other data analytical tools with experience in ETL processes
- Ability to communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical team members
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
- Familiarity with web analytics and tools like Google Analytics
- Experience working with agile development methodologies and expertise prioritizing requirements and sprint cadence adherence
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Metabase and ClickHouse is a plus
- Knowledge of R or Python is a plus
