Our client is one of Germany's preeminent entrepreneurs. He is building a high-calibre family office and is looking for a CIO Private Markets. This role will focus on manager selection and co-investments across a range of private markets asset classes and geographies.

What the job involves

• Due diligence and selection of private markets investment managers
• Analysis of potential co-investemnts
• Execution of the investment process
• Monitoring and managing existing funds
• Maintaining network of potential investment managers

What we are looking for

Investment skills

• Experience of private markets funds investing / manager selection and/or co-investments with a proven and successful track record in prior position
• Strategic investment appproach
• Comprehension of the underlying transactions
• Excellent technical skills
• International mind-set

Education

• Degree in economics, quantitative sciences or similar
• Additional qualifications e.g., CFA, CIIA or CAIA are an advantage
• Excellent English is a requirement, additional German language skills are an advantage

The position reports to the CEO of the family office.

Start date is as soon as possible.
