Our customer is a huge player in the construction and building materials sector. Nowadays, all their business lines and operations are going through a major digital transformation. We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer for a remote collaboration.

Your next challenge

• Contribute to your cross-functional product team
• Advocate for DevOps practices such as CI/CD and test automation
• Design, develop and execute User Stories using open source tools
• Review Roadmaps, Epics and User Stories to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate development & testing activities
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track defects
• Manage and resolve production incidents as part of our DINO (Developer IN Operations) rotation program
• Help troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems
• Stay up to date with new tools for development and testing and architectural design strategies

Your profile

Must have:

• University degree in computer science (or comparable qualification)
• Native relationship with digital products such as mobile & web apps, API’s, and Cloud services
• Comfortable to work in an international and remote team
• Good knowledge of REST API design and development
• C# and .NET Core (latest versions)
• Solid experience in API development
• Experience in current microservice architecture patterns and technologies. E.g., CI/CD, automated E2E testing, TDD, Docker, RabbitMQ, Postgres
• Azure cloud experience
• Clean coding and 12-factor app shareable knowledge (you can guide others)
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing elegant and clean code as well as test plans and test cases
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Very good English language skills
• Passion for finding simple solutions to complex problems
• Ability to work in an international team

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in Typescript & ReactNative (latest versions)
• Experience with React Query
• Experience with Gitlab and/or Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Fastlane
• Experience with Jira and XRay is a plus
• KQL & Azure AppInsights
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g. Cypress, Appium, DETOX)
