Your tasks:

Further academic qualification by writing a dissertation or, if applicable, a post-doctoral thesis (habilitation) in the field of systematic theology
Participation in systematic-theological and interdisciplinary cooperative research projects
Collaboration in and support of research activities of the professorship
Independent teaching activities (teaching load 4 hours per semester)

Your profile:

In addition to the general requirements according to public services law, applicants must meet the recruitment requirements stipulated in § 57 of the Hochschulgesetz of Rhineland-Palatinate.

A successfully completed academic university degree in Protestant theology or Protestant religious education
Special interest in research in the field of systematic theology

The position is paid according to EG 13 TV-L and is to be filled on October 1st 2023, for a limited period of three years (extension is possible).

The position serves the purpose of academic qualification (doctorate or habilitation).
