"As a Junior Data Scientist in our Business Intelligence & Data Science team you’ll work on projects across all functions in the company and help us to make better decisions and deliver data products - be it to offer more relevant content recommendations, increase the accuracy of revenue forecasts or fuel company strategy with data insights. If you’re a fan of fast delivery cycles and working with a wide variety of problems then this position is for you!"

• Contribute to data science projects by building and testing machine learning models for a variety of use cases
• Research, implement and improve state of the art recommendation algorithms to advance our content discovery experience at Blinkist
• Join the team in ideating about new opportunities
• Conduct exploratory data analyses to find actionable insights
• Visualize and document your work

• You have around 2 years of experience working with machine learning models.
• Worked with the Python ecosystem: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Jupyter, Tensorflow.
• Have good knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
• Fluent in SQL.
• Curious how data science tools can tackle business challenges.
• Have good communication skills and communicate confidently in English.
• Data science enthusiast and stay in touch with state of the art research in machine learning.

• ou are familiar with AWS landscape: SageMaker, Lambda, DynamoDB.
• Data engineering experience.
• Experience with recommender systems.
• You bring humour, passion, and drive for ownership.
