Das Deutsche Zentrum für integrative Biodiversitätsforschung (iDiv) in Leipzig, in Kooperation mit der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, sucht einen engagierten Postdoktoranden (w/m/d) zur quantitativen Analyse von Biodiversitätsdaten im Rahmen des Projekts 'sMon'. Die Stelle bietet die Möglichkeit, Deutschland-weite Biodiversitätsdaten aus verschiedenen Quellen zu analysieren, mit Behörden und Citizen-Science-Projekten zusammenzuarbeiten und wissenschaftliche Publikationen zu erstellen. Der ideale Kandidat verfügt über einen Doktortitel in Biologie, Ökologie oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet sowie Erfahrung in quantitativer Analyse und Datenbankmanagement. Die Position ist zunächst auf zwei Jahre befristet, mit der Option auf Verlängerung.

Postdoctoral Researcher Quantitative Biodiversity Data Analysis
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week), starting as soon as possible, limited to 2 years, with a possible extension of up to 4 years. The employer is Friedrich Schiller University Jena, and the work location is iDiv in Leipzig.
This position focuses on analyzing Germany-wide biodiversity data from state authorities, natural history societies, museums, and citizen science projects, in cooperation with the NFDI4Biodiversity program and other related projects at iDiv and partner institutes.
