Duties and Responsibilities

• undertake quality review and the onboarding of customers' KYC records
• assure that all internal and external requirements with regard to KYC/AML are met
• act as subject matter expert on required legal documents and information and process to onboard
• customers and review existing customers in the KYC Tool
• case based consultation and close cooperation with the customer facing teams in Front Office to collect required legal documents and associated information
• close and regular exchange with Compliance Department on KYC issues
• support of regular KYC reporting and monitoring
• support of development of KYC trainings for Front Office Units
• conduct KYC Trainings for Front Office Units
• support data analyses
• perform other duties and/or special projects when required
• contribute to the completion of the teams workload

Profile and Requirements

• Apprenticeship of qualified bank clerk
• Business Administration or equivalent education would be desirable
• First experience within a bank, financial services, operational or compliance field
• Knowledge of client onboarding process and of key relevant legal, regulatory and statutory
• requirements is a plus
• Knowledge of AML/CTF and sanctions as well as Trade Finance product knowledge is a plus
• Analytical, conceptual and holistic thinking
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and German is required, ability to
• communicate in Japanese is a plus
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to get up to speed quickly with new or unfamiliar subject matters content
• Team player: independent and self-motivated, with an ability to adapt and to be flexible in a team
• environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and confidently; able to influence internal and external stakeholders
