Scientific Staff Member / Postdoc (m/f/d)

The Department of Nuclear Medicine performs all nuclear medical examinations and therapies for the Medical Center – University of Freiburg, as a maximum care facility, as well as for external referrers. The clinical and scientific focus of the Molecular Neuroimaging Group is the use of molecular imaging of the brain with SPECT and PET for research and diagnosis of neurological and psychiatric diseases as well as for basic neuroscience research. The genesis and development of degenerative and inflammatory CNS diseases is of particular interest. To strengthen the Molecular Neuroimaging Group, we are looking for a scientific staff member / postdoc (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

data management, pre-processing and quality control for imaging studies
evaluation of nuclear imaging data using contemporary region-, voxel- and network-based methods as well as pharmacokinetic modeling
advanced statistical processing and analysis of resultplanning and execution of scientific studies
presentation and publication of scientific results

Your profile:

completed university degree (usually Master's degree or state examination, e.g. in psychology, physics, mathematics, medicine, computer science)
knowledge in statistics and programming (e.g. Matlab, Python, R)
experience/knowledge in software for analysis of imaging data (e.g. SPM, PMOD)
previous experience in the above mentioned fields of activity and completed PhD are very welcome, but not a mandatory requirement
