The position is within Aerostack GmbH, a Joint Venture between Airbus and an automotive company, part of the Airbus strategy to accelerate Zero Emission Aircraft development and build competences and skills in the technology domain.

The position is within Aerostack GmbH, a Joint Venture between Airbus and an automotive company, part of the Airbus strategy to accelerate Zero Emission Aircraft development and build competences and skills in the technology domain.
In order to support the Engineering team a vacancy for a “Technical Project Lead (d/f/m)” has arisen at Aerostack GmbH. The main working base is either in Dettingen an der Erms or Taufkirchen.
The job holder reports operationally and functionally to the Head of Engineering.
Main Tasks and Accountabilities:
Lead the stack prototype development project(s) by following and driving company processes
Coordinate the technical development by following the Engineering Process throughout PMG0 ~ PMG3
Endorse Project goals and define Development Plan
Align development objectives with the internal departments, select and prioritize from available options
Push the prototype development by achieving objectives such as efficiency, power output, lifetime, etc.
Ensure perfect harmonized, clear and shared understanding inside the technical teams
Identify the needs driven by fuel cell stack programme milestones and associated V&V and test plans
Ensure close contact with the technology, engineering and operations departments
Consolidate the need for required resources towards the plan and agree the way forward
Support Testing, Qualification and Certification analysis of test results (e.g. FAT)
Provide input to the Monthly Review, Business Reviews and other relevant reviews
Required Skills:
As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following competences and skills:
PhD or Master’s degree in physics, math, mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent
Several years of professional experience in technical project lead
Experience in fuel cell technology and fuel cell stack development
Professional with office/network IT tools
Pragmatic mindset and ambition for simplicity
Capability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
“Can do attitude” and hunger. Eager to jump-in and get things done. Don’t get flustered in a dynamic start-up environment
English and German fluently, French is a benefit
