Deine Karriere als Field Service Engineer bei EFI in Deutschland beginnt hier

EFI is looking for a Field Service Engineer (m/f/x) to join our service team in Germany, Baden-Würtemberg / Bayern area. This is a hands-on role, on the field, being in contact with our customers fixing, instaling and install EFI wide-format digital printing machines. We have a good range of printing machines within the VuteK line: roll to roll printers, flat bed printers and hybrid printers.

You will be the customer advocate and your role is key in EFI for ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing further to EFI product upselling.

You will receive a robust training on our products, technology and industry standards.

What you will do:

As a field service engineer your role is a mix between being on the field, driving to customers, installing the printing machines, fixing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatical issues of the machine. No day will be the same with the previous one and helping the customers on a daily basis will give you a feeling of satisfaction.

Sometimes the support to customers can be done remote too: via the phone, computer and also sometimes we do have also trade-show and printing exhibitions where we will need your help with set-up, calibrations, demonstration and tear-down.

It is a role where you will work independently and building good relationship with the owners, managers and user from the customers side.

What skills you should have:

• Wide-format printing industry is such an intersting area with lots of things to learn. You should bring the following skills:
• Relevant technical apprenticeship or technical qualification or degree in electrical / instrumentation / mechanical / process disciplines preferred.
• Good knowledge in mechanical and electrical skills.
• Up to 3 years post qualification experience in a service or similar position servicing complex electro-mechanical devices.
• Ability to work independently with minimum back-up when necessary.
• driving licence (Class B or equivalent)
• Work well alone or as part of a team.
