In software development/tool development, we deal with the development of data management systems for managing product and process information in the automotive sector, among other things.
Depending on the needs of our customers, we take responsibility for the development of individual software modules through to complete software. As a student, we offer you the opportunity to be an important part of our software development. Due to our broad focus, we offer a wide range of topics through which you can acquire new skills and expand your existing knowledge.
Your Tasks:
- Creation of software documentation in suitable text formats (Markdown, Latex)
- Migration of existing MS Office documents into Markdown/Latex
- Drafting style guides and design templates for documentation
- Setting up tool chains for the automated conversion, publishing and testing of documents
Necessary Skills:
- Ongoing studies in computer science or a comparable STEM degree program
- Programming skills (e.g. Java, Python, C++, C#, ...)
- Basic knowledge of agile software development
- Good knowledge of English
Desired Skills:
- Experience in creating documents with markup languages (Markdown, Wiki, Jira) or Latex
- Basic knowledge of working with Jira, Confluence
- Experience with converting documents into different formats (e.g. with Pandoc)
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab
- Experience with script-based automation of processes
- Ideally initial experience in the desired subject area
Remuneration is based on our collective wage and salary agreement. The current hourly rate for this position is EUR 17.52. From February 2025, the hourly rate for this position will be EUR 18.10.
