This position is in our Service & Support department and involves worldwide service calls on our high-end microscopy and spectroscopy systems.

Tasks

• You are the contact person for all service-related topics of national and international customers with a focus on our laser and photon-counting products
• Worldwide service assignments on our high-end microscopy and spectroscopy systems
• Root cause analysis and solution finding through cross-functional cooperation with development, production, etc.
• Updating and further development of the knowledge database

Requirements

• A successful undergraduate or professional degree with a focus on electrical engineering, optics or related disciplines
• Strong helpfulness and communication skills as well as intercultural sensitivity
• Ideally practical experience with laser-based measurement methods in the field of spectroscopy or microscopy
• Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems, and ideally programming skills in e.g. Python or C/C++
• Basic understanding of electronics
• Willingness to travel internationally numerous times per year
• Very good knowledge of the English language (at least C1 level)
