This position reports to

R&D Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

Plan and execute test plans, assign proper priorities and monitor assigned resources Training new team members in test procedures and processes Creating, reviewing, managing and updating documents Suggesting improvements to test procedures based on experience and knowledge of trends and equipment Assist external certification inspectors in testing ABB products and products from external customers Ensure that prototypes are assembled correctly, tests are performed correctly and activities are carefully recorded Supervise and perform various and complex test procedures Developing new or adapted test procedures for standard changes and extensions

Qualifications for the role

• Successfully completed university degree (Master's degree preferred) preferably in mechatronics, alternatively electrical engineering or mechanical engineering with experience in the other discipline or at least a keen interest in expanding your knowledge in this direction
• Knowledge of quality management, measurement technology and medium-voltage products is an advantage. There should be a clear interest in the various topics of quality management for test laboratories
• Quality-oriented, collaborative and solution-focused approach and good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Relevant work experience is a plus
• Fluency in German and English language
