The Role
The Engagement Manager is the pivot of our consulting business by owning the P&L for a set (or multiple set of accounts) driving analytics-based decision making among our customers. The role calls upon diverse skill sets and is at the intersection exemplary thought leadership and efficient project management at a fundamental and is key to accelerate the revenue growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities - Project Management: Managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring the project is on time and within budget.
- Team Leadership & Development: Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of Associates and Business Analysts.
- Problem Solving: The ability to dissect complex business problems and create actionable solutions.
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Business Acumen & Domain Expertise: Deep and evolving understanding of the client's industry and the broader business landscape.
- Communication Skills: Effectively conveying ideas and findings, adapting communication style to the audience.

- Business Development and Revenue Growth: Identifying new business opportunities and growing existing client relationships.
- Revenue Retention and Client Satisfaction: Ensuring high client satisfaction, leading to repeat engagements and long-term relationships.

Relevant Background
- MBA grads from Tier 1 colleges with 2+ years of experience in the field of business analysis and data science, 2+ years of experience at product startups and at least 2+ years of experience leading teams directly in services / consulting organizations. Overall experience - 8+ years of relevant experience.
- People with 5+ years of experience running a start-up or owning P&L at a startup / business i.e., ex-founders; head of growth; head of operations, etc.
- People with 5+ years of experience leading business functions at an eCommerce or retail company or people with 7+ years of experience leading analytics at an eCommerce or retail company.
- People with 7+ years of experience and who are running offshore delivery for marketing agencies or delivery centres catering to US markets, i.e., folks like Directors / Sr managers from Tier 1 analytics firms.
- People with 3+ of experience running pre-sales teams for analytics / consulting companies or people with 5+ years of experience working on-site in the US in relevant analytics or business roles.
