TASKS WITH IMPACT - Drive the Douglas data strategy and spearhead our data governance strategy.
- Design and implement data governance best practices and routines to boost data quality, integrity, and compliance across the enterprise.
- Define and standardize data governance standards, ensuring their integration into business processes and clear communication to all stakeholders.
- Orchestrate cross-functional data governance initiatives in partnership with various Douglas departments.
- Empower teams through coaching and training on data governance principles and practices, clarifying their roles and responsibilities in maintaining data integrity.
- Track data governance initiative progress, monitor key performance indicators, and provide regular reports on the effectiveness of governance measures.
- Spearhead data governance projects, ensuring timely implementation, adherence to scope, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
YOUR SKILLS - A degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in data governance, data management, or a similar capacity, with a proven track record of implementing governance frameworks and best practices.
- Deep understanding of data governance principles, standards, and frameworks, coupled with the ability to translate these concepts into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, combined with a keen interest in emerging trends and innovations in data governance and analytics.
