Your role: This is role is an exciting combination of an internal communications expert and a Chief of Staff role. Reporting to the Associate DIRECTOR Internal Communications & Projects you will develop concepts for communication initiatives, drive implementation efficiently and craft concise and impactful messages to disseminate updates, announcements, and important information. Collaborating with stakeholders you will ensure a consistent messaging across our communication channels, aiming at increasing the employees' engagement and affinity to the company. At the same time, you will measure and optimize the effectiveness of internal communications efforts, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
As a Chief of Staff, you will provide strategic support to the Vice President of Life Science Communications, acting as a trusted advisor and resource. You will foster cross-functional collaboration and effective communication within the Life Science Communications department. This role will enable you to work closely with and coordinate the efforts of a vibrant organization of 80 employees, dedicated to impact life and health with science.
You will manage strategic projects, assist in preparing and reviewing correspondence, presentations, and reports and provide insights to allow data-based decisions.
Who you are: - Minimum Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Marketing, journalism or related field, higher degree preferred
- +5 years of experience in a communications role
- Proven experience in internal communications and project management
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Knowledge and understanding of the Life Science industry is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English, with expertise in crafting concise and impactful messages
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to analyze data, enabling data-based decision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
