Your mission

As Anti-Money Laundering & Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML/CTF) Business Lead, your role will be to direct our AML Centre of Excellence and Compliance Officers, ensuring effective operations worldwide. Your strategic acumen will be key in updating global AML/CTF standards, setting KPIs, and fostering a unified approach across borders. You share best practices, drive accountability in local programs, and expand our regulatory reach, leading a dynamic, proactive response to financing challenges globally.

Your daily work

• Guide global compliance.
  Lead with authority and vision, ensuring our AML/CTF standards continuously exceed global regulatory expectations. Your strategic insights directly influence the effectiveness and integrity of our financial operations.

• Lead remedial actions.
  You will act as the pivotal contact for urgent remediation, responding to monitoring outcomes or red flags, ensuring swift and effective resolution to maintain uncompromised compliance.

• Educate and engage.
  Be prepared to provide essential training to business and AML Compliance Officers, while engaging with regulatory bodies and auditors to foster a proactive compliance culture and strong external relationships.

Who you are

• You have a strong educational foundation with a Law degree and a minimum of of seven years’ experience in Financial Services or a related discipline, and are equipped with an in-depth understanding of AML frameworks and the financial regulatory landscape.

• Your professional journey includes substantive engagement with regulatory bodies, showcasing your ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and facilitate compliance.

• You express yourself clearly and confidently in both German and English.

• You are capable of articulating complex AML concepts to a diverse, international audience.
